HUF HAUS has a philosophy of ‘an uncompromising demand for quality achieved through the careful selection of materials and individual product design’. This approach chimes with us at Langdale Landscapes and we were thrilled to create the contemporary garden which works in harmony with this remarkable home in Sevenoaks.

The shape of the site, together with 360-degree views from the HUF HAUS, lent itself to a garden with several focal points.

An outside dining area, including an attractive outdoor kitchen, was enriched by the addition of a stylish water blade water feature, a sheet of rounded steel directing the flow of a seamless sheet of gently curved water, a refreshing backdrop on a warm day.

The installation of a powder-coated aluminum Renson pergola, complete with automated roof opening, created another stylish focal point, as well as adjustable shade throughout the day.

A raised deck of Corten steel was offset by muted garden walls with an arresting hot pink center, a feature which felt right at home here. The use of other hard landscaping materials like Belgian pavers and resin paths added to the harmony with this setting.

The different elements of the garden and the clean lines of the modern materials were seamlessly brought together and softened by a beautiful herbaceous planting scheme bordered by a boundary of large trees, planted in their maturity to provide an instant screen for the garden from the outside.

This unique contemporary garden in Sevenoaks was built by Langdale Landscapes in six months.
